Detention Ministry
Detention Ministry is recognized as a catalyst that sparks the radical transformation of society’s treatment of the incarcerated from retribution and punishment to restoration and reconciliation.  Ministers work with the prisoners at Pitchess Detention Center.Because of their present environment and related emotional psychological pressures, it is essential that they experience our support and understanding.  Our affirmation of their person, not necessarily their behavior, will invite them to grow toward a more positive self-awareness and acceptance of the personal potential.  We must be their experience of the unconditional love of God.

Scrip Ministry
The Scrip Ministry is a stewardship program that purchases gift certificates at a discount and resells them to parishioners at face value. The program also has electronic rebate programs.  These programs rebate a percentage of the retail purchases of the member directly to the parish.  Examples of these programs include Vons, Albertsons, Ralphs, and Pavilions.  Our church benefits when parishioners register with rebate programs that automatically send our parish money based upon the parishioner’s purchases.  These sales have supported various parish needs.
